Your greatest work is ahead!
Leidos’ Defense Systems Kinetics Effects is seeking a Senior Digital Engineering Section Manager to join our Advanced Materials Department to accelerate our efforts to modernize and transform the way we work using digital technology advances. The candidate will lead the vision and implementation of digital twins, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), multi-physics simulation, AI/ML tools, and other digital twin integration within Leidos’s Advanced Materials Department. Digital twin models serve as the definitive "connective tissue" of digital transformation by unifying structural frameworks like MBSE with high-fidelity multi-physics and Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME), creating an engineering ecosystem where AI/ML can optimize the entire product lifecycle in real time. By integrating these disparate technologies into a single "system of systems," digital twins move beyond simple visualization to provide a predictive, autonomous environment that fundamentally accelerates innovation in advanced materials and manufacturing.
