Job Description Summary
The University of South Alabama’s Enrollment Services department is seeking to hire a Program Associate, Enrollment Services. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates traditional group tours for high school and community college students, as well as non-traditional tours for community and institutional partners.
  • Supports the tour needs of academic colleges, Alumni, and other campus partners.
  • Coordinates internal and external tour requests (i.e. supplemental appointments with academics and student life).
  • Assists with all the components of the hybrid New Student and Parent/Supporter Orientation programs, with leadership responsibilities including the coordination of pre-orientation online learning (USAOnline modules), post-orientation engagement (i.e. open houses and Week of Welcome (WOW) events), Parent/Supporter engagement (i.e. orientation mixers and sessions, handbook, CampusESP), and campus outreach (i.e. job fairs, WOW, etc.)
  • Supports orientation efforts for returning/readmits, adult learners, and bridge students.
  • Assists with sponsorship programs in support of orientation programming.
  • Assists with recruitment and yield event programs and related tasks including USA Days, College Preview Week, etc.
  • Supports Enrollment/Admissions through special population recruitment and yield programs for prospective students and their families (i.e. showcases, Jags Days, Flagship Leaders, etc.)
  • Collaborates with other units on campus and community partners to meet program needs and attend/lead meetings as needed.
  • Provides general support and supervision of student staff with no direct reports, but proxy privileges and general leadership responsibilities.
  • Assists with program assessments and data collection efforts to support continuous improvement, set goals and track program progress.
  • Updates reports for the Director and provides feedback for staff, using data collected from surveys, Slate, etc.
  • Counsels prospective students and families on admissions policies and standards, student life, etc., via in-person, virtually, email, phone call, text or mail, using Slate CRM and Banner ERP.
  • Utilizes Slate CRM, Mongoose/Cadence CIP, Banner ERP, USAOnline/Canvas, and other technology to enhance communication initiatives, maintain student records, and provide superior customer service.
  • Works closely with the offices within Enrollment Services and across the university to ensure optimum service is provided to assist in meeting university enrollment goals.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
  • Related duties as required.
