STAFF ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Savannah, GA. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience and will be responsible for the daily operations of the company's financial transactions.

Typical Duties Include:
  • Processing Accounts Payable
  • Processing Accounts Receivable• Billing
  • Processing Employee Timesheets & Working with Payroll Coordinator who completes Payroll
  • Reconciling Bank Statements
  • Maintaining an accurate General Ledger
  • Monitoring Cash Flow
  • Financial Reporting & Forecasting
  • Preparing Annual 1099s
  • Accounting for Fixed Assets & Depreciation
  • Maintaining and balancing Prepaids & Accruals
Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online & Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Great Critical Thinking Skills
  • Accounting & Financial Knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with a Tech company, small startup or SaaS preferred
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Skills:
  • The ability to work a regular schedule of 730AM - 530PM Mon-Thurs and 730AM - 1130AM Fri, occasional evenings and weekends may be required
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
  • Highly client service-oriented, self-starter, and team player
  • Strong attention to detail and organized
  • Critical thinking skills and problem-solver
  • Excellent time management skills and can work independently
