Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Claims Specialist II, to Be based in the Lexington, KY office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting claims or incidents to third party administrators (TPA) and insurance companies.
- Lead ongoing coordination with insurers, TPA, and/or defense counsel to ensure appropriate progress of claims administration and resolution.
- Proactively collaborate with various departments to obtain information, updates relating to claims or incidents.
- Independently draft, issue and manage tender or notice letters to insurance companies, TPA’s, brokers, or other third-parties.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and claim investigations to determine claims exposure, recommend appropriate settlement strategies, and strategic action plans.
- Lead, coordinate and participate in claim reviews and/or audits with brokers, insurance companies, and company stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records, organized files and provide comprehensive updates to internal stakeholders.
- Review, approve and process invoices.
- Run monthly reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with mid-term changes and annual renewal of Gray’s corporate insurance policies.
- Assist with development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of construction trends in the insurance industry.
- Work with other members of the Risk Management team on special projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
