| Job Summary | Assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital and outpatient infusion setting. Prepares and compounds individual patient doses, primarily sterile hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications for adult and pediatric populations in accordance with current USP guidelines. Maintains a sterile work environment with specified cleaning procedures. Assists pharmacist and other technicians with inventory management of materials and medications. |
