The Data Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Data Operations Analyst, Data Governance Manager and the Director, Data Governance to manage and support effective use of the firm’s data resources and plan, execute, and manage Data Governance projects. This role requires a combination of domain knowledge, customer service, administration, and project management. It further involves handling time-sensitive data support requests from consulting and administrative teams and collaborating with the Data Governance team and other consulting and administrative colleagues on projects relating to the firm’s data resources. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support effective use of the firm’s subscription data across the consultancy and administrative teams.
- Respond to time-sensitive research requests from case teams. Tasks include providing access to the firm’s data resources, locating resources with required data and scholarly articles, and running simple queries.
- Assist with maintenance and organization of internal documentation on data resources, including SharePoint sites and Microsoft lists.
- Support the data acquisition process by communicating with data vendors, coordinating with the Legal team to review and negotiate data contracts, tracking deadlines, expirations, and upcoming renewals, and coordinating with Finance to facilitate payment and cost allocations.
- Ensure compliance with data usage terms and contractual obligations.
- Support the Director, Data Governance, and the Data Governance Manager with projects relating to the firm’s data resources.
- Assist the Data Governance team with ongoing project management. Tasks include organizing team projects, tracking project status and action items, coordinating and scheduling team meetings, developing meeting agendas and minutes, and assisting with team project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience required.
- Experience with enterprise data resources (e.g., S&P, LSEG, LexisNexis) is preferred.
- Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, appropriately prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, and respond to shifting demands from consulting and administrative teams.
- Curious, proactive, and self-motivated professional who takes initiative, drives projects forward, and identifies opportunities to enhance processes and overall efficiency.
- Enjoys contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.
- Experience with Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT and/or Microsoft Copilot, is preferred.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000–$75,000. Compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including work experience, education, and skill level.
