Job Summary:
The IT Intern gains hands-on experience with our IT team. This internship will work in cooperation with IT management to aid in the completion of day-to-day issues, as well as long-term project to improve IT systems. This position requires a motivated and excited individual working towards an applicable degree.
Essential Functions:
- Support the local and corporate IT teams in daily tasks
- Maintain and support all computer systems, networks, printers, phones, video systems, etc. throughout the plant
- Organize and maintain IT resources onsite
- Investigate and solve any IT related issues/problems
- Show proficiency in Windows 11 Workstation in a domain environment
- Desktop support for all users onsite
- Complete trainings for new hires, as well as training for new programs, software, etc.
- Any other duties assigned by IT management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory responsibility
Minimum Qualifications:
Specific knowledge that can be determined objectively; suggested vocabulary below
- Must currently be a student working on a degree in I.T. or related field.
- Investigatory and problem-solving skills
- Able to work with multiple different individuals and on numerous different teams
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Education & Experience
- Working towards an applicable degree
- High School diploma or GED
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
