The Field Electrical Helper assists electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in construction environments. The role focuses on handson support, safety, and efficient workflow on active job sites. This position will eventually join Local IBEW Union.

About the Position
The Field Electrical Helper assists electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in construction environments. The role focuses on handson support, safety, and efficient workflow on active job sites. This position will eventually join Local IBEW Union.

Day in the Life
- General labor - lifting equipment and installation.
- Prepare work areas - set up tools, ladders, materials, and safety equipment before electrical work begins.
- Assist with installations - help pull wire, run conduit, mount electrical boxes, install fixtures, and support roughin and trimout tasks under supervision.
- Material handling - load, unload, and organize electrical supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Basic electrical tasks - strip wire, label circuits, make simple connections, and assemble components as directed by a licensed electrician
- Tool operation - safely operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, conduit benders, and testers
- Safety compliance - follow OSHA and company safety procedures, wear PPE, and help maintain a clean, hazardfree job site
- Documentation - record material usage, job progress, and any issues encountered.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school diploma/certification preferred
- Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Open to learning new skills and willingly accepts feedback for continuous improvement.
- Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation.
- Some Trade school preferred
- Apprentice license preferred
