We’re presenting an exciting opportunity for an Accountant. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accounting professional who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative finance team. This role supports core accounting operations and plays an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

This role is based out of our West Allis office with an in-office schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday.

Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare and review accounting transactions
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Support month-end close activities as assigned
  • Review and analyze month-end reports
  • Roll forward workpapers and supporting schedules
  • Interact with audit partners as needed
  • Participate in internal controls and process improvement initiatives
  • Process AP transactions as needed
  • Process sales tax payments for assigned jurisdictions
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Solid Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset

It Would Also Be Nice to Have:

  • CPA certification (or interest in pursuing one)
  • Experience with ERP or general ledger systems
  • Exposure to audits or internal controls
  • A curious mindset - someone who asks questions and seeks to improve processes
